John N. Williams - Shop Foreman

John N. Williams joined J.H. & C.S. Odell in 2005. He began as an apprentice in the shop, coming from a strong background of teamwork and attention to detail from service in the United States military.

John brings excellent work habits and considerable overall skills to his work at J.H. & C.S. Odell, though his personal knowledge of engineering and woodworking have been particularly useful in his training. While learning the specific skills involved in pipe organ building, John is also working on the completion of an Engineering Science degree.

The work he has accomplished thus far under his apprenticeship with Edward Odell has vastly improved his overall knowledge and appreciation of pipe organs. John is satisfied with his progression towards being a journeyman in the trade and enjoys the craftsmanship and art of being a part of the Odell workshop. In recognition of his organization skills and many contributions to recent projects, John was promoted to Shop Foreman in 2006.
