In late spring of 2004 Donald Barnum, the St. Charles Choir, and the gifted organist Jonathan Hall began work to assemble a new recording that would feature the St. Charles organ, J.H. & C.S. Odell Opus 178.
The result is "In Perfect Peace - A Brooklyn Pastorale". This disc features Pastorales of Bach and Guilmant, along with choral works of S.S. Wesley and William Byrd that were selected as being particularly appropriate for this instrument.
Included with the disc is a 12-page color booklet which features notes from the Organist and Choir Director, as well as extensive information about the organ from our archives.
